Hi, I'm Daniel Naxon! I'm a web developer from in Tel Aviv, Israel.
I started building websites using Microsoft FrontPage at the age of 11, and two years later, right around when I celebrated my Bar Mitzvah, I started using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP, which I've been using ever since. Over the years I've added more tools to my toolbox. I'm a bit fan of the TALL stack, and also use VueJS (with Inertia.js, obviously) frequently.
At the age of 15 I started doing some freelance work, where I mainly built small websites and ran some side projects. Those things (and 4.5 years of military service) kept my busy until I got employed for the first time in 2016 at a company called inManage. I spent 4.5 years working there. I started as a full-stack developer, and ended up as a team leader. White working at inManage, I got to work on some large projects for big clients, like McDonald's Israel, Groo (Groupon Israel) and many more.
Since December 2020, I've been working as a team leader at Ongage, an email marketing platform.
I've also contributed to various open source projects, a field that I'm planning on getting involved even further.
Besides programming, my biggest passion is Maccabi Tel Aviv. I've been a huge fan ever since I remember myself, barely missed games since the age of 15, traveled with the team to many games in Europe, and I was there when we won our last Euroleague Championship in 2014 in Milan. The next one is right behind the corner, I promise.
